The Paper Airplane Museum

ALOHA and Welcome to the First known Aviation museum at the famous MAUI MALL on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Hawaii's Aviation History. It houses one of the largest Collections of Aviation photos, dedicated to Hawaii's Aviation, displayed anywhere.

Many of the photos are of Historic nature and were donated by local residents whose relatives help to make Hawaii's Aviation History.

Admission to the museum is FREE and the museum often hosts class field trips for the local schools.

In addition to the photos of Hawaii's Aviation History the museum also has the largest known collection of PAPER AIRPLANES in the world. There are more than 2500 models and kits on display. The built-up models range in size from that of a postage stamp to models with wing spans of over 6 feet. Only airplanes that are constructed of 95% paper qualify for this museum. The museum displays Paper Airplanes from all over the World, including models of Leonardo da Vinci (1490) to the current Space Shuttle and Satellites. The Paper Airplane kits range in skill level from Novice to Expert and are incredible in detail. |
Within the museum is a gift shop where visitors may purchase a wide variety of unique items.
